Depending on where you live, you may be able to eat outdoors at restaurants in the area all year. But what if you want to bring the outdoor dining experience to your patio at home? What if winter doesn’t mean indoors-only events? An outdoor patio covering can be the difference between eating cooped up inside or relaxing with friends under weather and sun protection.
Enjoy Al Fresco Dining at Home
Roll out the barbecue and leave it out all year. Even with the smallest of outdoor spaces, one can present an al fresco feast just like the Europeans. Dining outdoors has long been favored by those in Mediterranean climates. Why not make your own yard into a little slice of Italy or France? You can when you have rain and sun protection with a deck that has louvered slats will allowing you to adjust it to the weather conditions. You may not live in balmy Capri, but you can control the weather where you are to make it feel as such.
Bring out the Heater for Winter Dining
No one wants to take the party inside, so more and more people are utilizing outdoor patio heaters. These lovely fireplaces can really extend your party into the night and you’ll never have to attempt squeezing everyone indoors again as the chill of night arrives. If there happens to be any drizzle or snow that might dampen the fun, simply adjust the slats of your patio cover to for protection.
Dining Sets for Outdoors Go Upscale
Stores have moved away from stocking only folding deck chairs that collapse the moment you sit in them to now offering a host of high end designers fashioning full dining sets and posh seating options allowing families and other guests to fully enjoy outdoor dining. Arrange your dining table and chairs under a covered deck so there’s not a need for an umbrella. Surf on over to Alumawood® on Facebook and you’ll find all the information you need on how to extend your parties by including a covered patio.

Hi,
I was working with Brent Guthrie but decided to construct in a different way. That approach fell through so I am re-thinking the Equinox system now that I am clear in my mind how I want the cover designed.
Is your Equinox patio cover designed to meet windstorm inland zone 1 specifications?
Please send detail specifications that Equinox patio covers are designed too and verification that
you meet meet windstorm inland
zone 1 specifications.
Thank you.
