While we do not recommend it, you can repaint your Alumawood™ patio cover; however, the proper preparation is critical. Amerimax recommends consulting a professional paint store such as Sherwin-Williams for repainting advice. Our Alumawood™ patio cover is coated with silicone polyester and cured in a paint line oven for a durable finish. Repainting will likely weather and fade quicker than our factory paint. Please know that repainting any part of your Alumawood™ patio cover would void our warranty.
