(Plano, TX) is pleased to announce its acquisition of all Equinox Louvered Roof manufacturing equipment and the exclusive rights to the Equinox name from Equinox Manufacturing, LLC (Salt Lake City, UT). Negotiations concluded with the signed agreement on October 14, 2010.
Equinox Louvered Roof is a motorized louvered roof system that creates a versatile outdoor space for residential and commercial applications. The system’s louvers can be positioned anywhere within their 160 degree range of motion providing direct sun or complete protection. When closed, the integrated rain carrying system prevents water from leaking so the outdoor space can be utilized in any weather.

Is this the equinox louvered roof a DIY like the other alumnawood designs? Also I was trying to find out from someone how much a designs cost to see if it is within my budget, but your dealers/distributers do not have the product on their websites.
Hi Mel, sorry for the late reply. Equinox Louvered Roof is not a Do-It-Yourself type product like Alumawood Shade Structures. Equinox has a slightly more technical installation process than Alumawood. You can contact us at 800-448-4033 to find a local authorized Equinox dealer to help you get a quote.
